There are six refuges. Collectively they provide 332 beds. For the March to Could interval, the busiest was Tossals Verds in Escorca with 3,302 company. The others are Son Amer (additionally in Escorca), Can Boi in Deya, Galatzó in Calvia, Pont Romà (Pollensa) and Muleta (Soller).
In June, the refuges may have accommodated 3,183 hikers, a rise of 9.3%.
The councillor for the agricultural setting, Pedro Bestard, says: “The lengthening of the excessive spring season is because of a number of components, similar to the rise in hikers on the Dry Stone Route. Logically, that is translating into a rise in in a single day stays.
“The rise in bookings displays the good acceptance that our routes have amongst hikers from everywhere in the world.”
